Not meaning to start a flame war or anything - but isn't Mac's suppose to be more user friendly than Windows, etc.. I find it funny you have a Mac owner/user asking a PC user/non Mac owner how to use his Mac ;)

Just find that amusing is all! Wish I could help, maybe your bro is just too stupid to use any type of computer - hehehe ;) Give him an etch-a-sketch - Maybe it won't know the difference?

Does he not read? I am quite sure the documentation for Toast 6 is quite clear in its instructions of use.

I think Toast 6 has the same program layout as 5. In 5, you'd select the right tab on the main screen, then make sure you'd burning a disc image. You just drag the disc image into the screen there. You can either press the burn button to burn it or the mount button to mount it.

Of course, this is based of Toast 5, so I have no clue if it's changed in 6...

I don't know about that Timdorr, Nero on the PC is pretty nice too. Now if Ahead would port it to OS X, I'd really be interested in giving it a try. NTI Dragon Burn (on OS X) is pretty nice too. I do agree with the previous comment about Roxio's PC products though. I stopped even bothering with them after the problems with Easy CD 5 on Windows 2000.

Oh yeah, the *coolest* feature ever has to be Toast 6's Rendezvous burning. Basically, because my roommate bought my old iMac with a superdrive in it, me and my roommate essentially have our own superdrives as well. We just load up Toast, it finds the drive in the other computer automatically, and I burn it like it's a local disc (except that I can burn from my living room :p ). It's absolutely AWESOME :D

That is a cool feature. I didn't know about that one. Nero now has something similar (NeroNet), but it costs extra, and it is not nearly as "automatic" as that.
