shockz Posted September 3, 2017 Share Posted September 3, 2017 (edited) I have a client who wants to setup a G Suite account for their domain, they had a few questions that I'm getting conflicting answers for when searching. I'm a bit inexperienced with G Suite, I typically use Office 365 for most things. 1) Can a standard google account with the same domain name be promoted/imported into the new GSuite domain? There is apparently an option to create a free google account with a custom domain name, providing you don't request gmail along with it. 2) If for some reason this company decides to cancel GSuite, does an account get demoted to a standard @gmail.com address, and their play store purchases remain intact? The primary concern with them is that if they use the Google Play store, they want to ensure any purchase made on a gsuite google account remain intact if for some reason GSuite is canceled.
