armaddon
Well, I decided to take part in getting angry at techtomorrow.com after the recent article, as I really can't stand it when other people take credit for what I do, so I sympathized. Anyways, I actually received a response from them (I know I'm probly not the only one, but anyways): Dear Sir Concerning your email, we do believe that you are right to feel this way about the content presented on the website. There has been a huge misunderstanding though. You see we are software developers and the techtommorow website is our demo site for our newest CMS platform. It was meant to demonstrated to our customers ONLY after their request so that they could evaluate it. Unfortunately due to the technology used in it the search engines picked it up a lot faster than we ever thought they would thus sending "unwanted" traffic to the website. To cut a long story short the DEMO site was and is still under construction and the parts where the articles would link back to original author were not placed. We apologize for any inconvenience caused to you and thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Your email will not be used to any kind of promotions that involve our business. We do invite you thought in one month's time to check back with us and have a go at our software when this demo site will be complete. Thank you. What do you guys think? valid excuse or BS? ~armaddon

MackDiesel2010
so if they will add credit in the future, why bother creating a zip file of the stolen article w/ images if no credits are inserted into the zip. You'd have to go back and zip it again.
Keldyn
No need to flog a dead horse. We covered this story on our main page. It turned out to be a a big misunderstanding. techtomorrow is nothing more than a test site and was never intended to be picked up by the general public.
