Multiplicity now on Steam; control two PCs with one mouse and keyboard

Multiplicity is a software solution developed by Stardock, that allows users to control multiple PCs using a single pair of mouse and keyboard. Since its release way back in 2004, the software has gone through various updates, each introducing new capabilities and functionalities.

Today, Stardock has announced that it is bringing the keyboard / mouse (KM) solution to the Steam gaming platform.

Multiplicity brings more versatility and flexibility to gamers, allowing them to seamlessly transition between up to two PCs adjacent to each other on the same network, using only one mouse and a keyboard. Text and images can also be moved from one PC to another, while preserving their original formatting options. Gamers can stack their displays, shift audio to one PC, and even create a virtual "docking space" for their laptop. Multiplicity also boasts hot keys and touch screen controls in order to seamlessly switch between different machines.

Stardock's KM solution joins the company's growing list of Steam utilities that will likely appeal to live streamers and gaming enthusiasts. However, Multiplicity is also aimed at video editors and graphic designers who use multiple devices to divide their workload between machines. Similarly, professionals can separate their work and personal environments with the aid of this software. Additionally, all of these categories of users will be able to utilize the extra space created by eradicating the need for additional peripherals and other hardware devices.

Multiplicity offers full support for Windows 7, 8, and 10, and you can find it on Steam or Stardock's own website at the links listed below.
