MasterRampage Posted September 16, 2017 Share Posted September 16, 2017 hey guys just needing some advise i have taken out my cd rom and put a ssd in its place , using a hard drive mount ,i have noticed that my speeds have dropped ALOT ( download speeds from 80 to 94 Mbps down to 8mbps ) i noticed in speecy it says sata 1 selected sata 3 max , is there a way to change this hp aio 24-b017a thank for ya help Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is always a tiny chance you could get lucky with the M.2 slot - it might have a PCIe x 1 channel 2. Probably the CD being on the 2nd SATA is wired into the crappy BIOS so the only thing to try is to reverse the the positions of the two drives.
