This has the rounded edges like you want. :woot: Those rounded corners are how they used to do that specific type of panel in gnome 2.2. Ximian desktop is just a modified gnome 2.2. In gnome 2.4, there aren't specific types of panel anymore... just one generic panel type, which you can resize and put anywhere. but it doesn't do rounded top bar corners easily anymore.
