JCKelly Share Posted October 27, 2017 Sorry guys, I failed to ask my father, Lt. Hugh A. Kelly, stationed at Ft Lauderdale Naval Air Base, any details about this. All I know is that he was on watch that night. He told me "...they relieved me because they knew I wouldn't falsify the log" Later joke around that air base was that if the guys had been on a rum run to Cuba (a tale in itself) they'd have found them.
