Yep, if you watched the iTunes for Windows introduction closely you could see it when he sent an iTunes gift certificate (also shown during the keynote as well, I think).

he wont hook you up. if he hooked up any1 htat told him theyd switch then apple owuld get 99 percent market share. except tis not really market share just a large user base. while ure at it, why dont you ask for G5 with dual 30 inch displays. and just get a regular mouse not a bluetoothe one as a compromise.

Let me save you some time.

Dear random guy:

Thanks for sending me your email.  I'm glad you like the hardware we have designed here at Apple.  I hope you can appreciate why I must turn down your request: we didn't get this five billion dollar pile of cash by giving away hardware so sod off.  Do you really think you're the first person to come up with this winner of an idea?

- Steve Jobs (CEO, Apple Computer)

don't you think he would be better convinced to send you a free mac if you could at least get his name right?

Also, if you don't like windows then check out Linux or BSD.

Not only are they unix-like operating systems, and free - you won't have to sell your soul to get a copy.

They'll run on the computer you've already got. It's not a macintosh, but it's closer than windows is. When/if you finally get a mac, all that *nix knowlege you've got can be applied, so it's all good.

Apparently he does read most of it, and some people have even got replies. For the most part nobody hears back.

I bashed out a message a couple months back when they replaced the battery for my powerbook just to say how impressed i was with the quality of service from tech support on the phone and at the store. I never heard back, but it seemed like the right thing to do.

I find it ironic that when you came close to getting the right one, you actually spelled it wrong :D

It's steve@mac.com. That's confirmed from my roommate :)
