I have a Dell Dimension 8100 and have installed the Dell OEM version of Windows XP on it, everything is fine untill I go into the Device Manager, in which there is an "Unsupported Device", which I believe, when I have Windows 2000 on it, is an "Intel Malicious Driver Protection" (or something around those lines) all the other hardware I have put in like TV card, CD-RW, ISDN card, is all accounted for. I've searched the CD's that came with it, the Dell & Intel website, and even Yahoo, Google etc.. but can't find the drivers for it. Can anyone please help me? roban Posted September 6, 2001 Share Posted September 6, 2001 I believe it's Intel graphics driver related. I had the same problem with my L800r when I installed the latest 810E chipset. The best way around it is to uninstall your display adapter and reboot. Let Windows find your display and re-install. It's one of the reasons I went back to Win 2K.
