Vivo V7 features an 18:9 display, 24MP camera, and costs around $300

Vivo has announced the latest in its smartphone lineup with the Vivo V7. This device is similar to the V7+ that was announced in September, but with some important differences.

The V7 offers a 5.7-inch 18:9 IPS display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels. The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor and will be paired with 4GB RAM. The device will offer 32 GB of internal storage that can be expanded through microSD. The rear camera will come in at 16MP with an f/2/0 aperture, and the front will house and astounding 24MP shooter.

As for the battery, the V7 will house a 3,000mAh unit and will also have a fingerprint reader that is located on the rear. As for its OS, it will be running Vivo’s Funtouch OS version 3.2 utilizing Android 7.1 Nougat. While an official price wasn't announced, the firm did state that it would come in around $300. Unfortunately, as you can probably guess, the handset won't be available in most markets today, only making its retail debut in Indonesia. Vivo does plan to release it to other markets in the future.
