i haven't reformatted since december 2002, when i made a SP1 slipstreamed install. i know what i'm doing with windows and know enough what not to install, so i don't have a problem. usually i format and do a new clean install when a service pack comes out, but with SP2 i'm going to experiment a little... my biggest problem is beta software, because i'm in a lot of betas, and they can cause lots of problems with totally different parts of windows or different programs.
