Hot deals?

Recommended Posts

Been coming here for 2 years, and I was wondering, how come this forum doesnt have a "hot deals" section where people can post the great deals that they find all over the net? We could post bout the most amazing offers and such, and what better place to put this subforum than on the greatest computer related forum in the world?

I once found this amazing deal for an Athlon 2600+ with 512 megs, a 17 in flat panel display with free shipping for only 800 bucks (with the coupon codes somebody posted on another site) However, I was too late to get it.

I know other places like this exist, such as fatwallet, etc. But still, can we get a subforum for those amazing deals we find? With the huge number of members we have, it should become very very popular. Anybody second on wanting this sorta thing for the Neowin forums?

:woot:

ok not sure if someone mentioned this but a hot deals section would be nice. a lot of tech related forums have a hot deals/for sale or trade forum, why not neowin?

This would be a great idea - And in the forum, have a sub forum where you can post about free stuff... I used to know a site where you could get free Ferret food... Strange really, but fun never the less :D

We used to have a forum for that, but there wasn't enough activity back then, and there still isn't any to warrant such a forum.

Radish?

We can't go and make a forum because you'll provide all the activity

wasnt that for selling stuff... this is more of telling where stuff is cheaper:|. :|

and i really like the idea because we have a huge member base which would help in finding nice deals:). :)
