RADEON 64MB DDR and XP

anyone here using a RADEON 64MB DDR in XP (2600)?

I was jus wondering if anyone knew any tweaks or tips, as my FPS in Q3 seems a little low

in fact, FPS seems to be lower than it was with my GeForce 2MX, which is bad :(

Im using the latest leaked beta drivers (3226), and radeontweaker.

Should I be using the default winXP drivers?

It's just annoying cos in terms of visual quality/DVD etc. it seems to be a vastly superior card, but I know that ATI's drivers are notoriously crap :(

any help would be much appreciated......

PS im scared to even install Team Arena and check the FPS lol

Is anyone else running XP and a Radeon 64ddr card? When I installed xp, I had terminal problems with the default drivers on the xp disk. The longest it ran was for 2 minutes without freezing. Where did you get other drivers from?

my RADEON has never crashed like that in XP - my only problem is I wish FPS were a bit better in games.

Im gonna benchmark my RADEON 64MB against my GeForce 2 MX with detonator 4.0's tonight - then Ill decide which Im gonna use.

i got the leaked ati drivers from here:

http://www.3dchipset.com/beta/ati/5133226/win-2k.html

but the link seems to be dead atm :/

if u e-mail me ill send them to u if u cant get them
