In essence, Haswell and older, Windows 7 & 8, Windows server are so screwed that Microsoft advises careful consideration before applying patches. This is revealing, to say the least. Performance and efficiency is very important to me. Mass public will tho... planned obsolescence conspiracy . sub 10% performance gains in CPUs year over year average, oh but now your old computer sucks, gotta upgrade to 2017+ hardware..
