KNIGHT
The only upgrade I can think of for a Slot A is a faster Slot A Athlon. There aren't any other cpus that use Slot A. As for an adapter for putting a T-Bird in a Slot, I haven't run across one yet. Not really sure if anyone made one. If you have a little bit of money, I would suggest upgrading to a Socket A (462) mobo and a T-bird. A 1.2Ghz T-bird is running $120 and a good Socket A mobo is running about $130. Everything else you have should work fine with the new mobo. If you want DDR, it will cost between $160 and $200+.
autodefe
I used to have a CLASSIC Slot A Athlon 550 (one of the first batches ever made) and if you're looking to upgrade you're better off buying a new mobo and an Athlon XP. There is no convertor (Slocket) available so don't even bother looking. Alas... The slot is dead :hurt:
neowin_hipster
Athlons and durons are dirt cheap, as well as the mobos and ram so upgrade your system for nothing.
