Hurmoth
Just wondering, I haven't gotten .Mac yet, and was getting ready to purchase it. Just wondering if it's worth it?

Hurmoth
Well, from what I've read, it's really worth it, but I wanted to ask someone who had it. Can you buy more iDisk space, 100MB isn't much?
NeoMayhem
Yes, you can buy more space ;) The mail and stuff is sweet, and the homepage is pretty good, I have no need for the other stuff though.

Fusion
Sign up for the trial. They give you 2 months for free. Personally I like it, but with the homepage you don't get any server technologies like Perl or PHP so I am left with buying personal web space and hosting anyway. I still will probably buy it though when my trial runs up. There are some nice features. The fact that the homepage is integrated with the Finder is a nice touch. I wish I could get my personal web space to act as such, then I would fully just use my own space instead of .Mac. The web mail system also seems nice but again nothing you can't get with paid hosting such as Squirrel Mail. If by chance you don't need any server technology and would just use web space for storage, downloads, and backups then I would say that .Mac is the most complete option available. You also might want to check out Spymac.com. They are offering everything that .Mac offers for free. I have signed up for an account there also, but I did not necessarily want and email address that ends in .Spymac or a resume or anything. .Mac is even pushing it for me. mac15
I've had it since it came out and have been an itools user since way back. Its well worth it, you'll love using backup and iSync with .mac
