So I recently switched from Chrome to FF, and reasonably happy - or at least not unhappy, on the surface things are fine.

Except for one thing.

On Chrome, loading something like a forum page is pretty straightforward. Basically, it gets the size of elements first, so when you go to a specific post, it goes there and doesn't scroll around. FF seems to jump around as it loads part of the page... for instance, on Neowin, it almost always requires waiting 5 seconds for the posts to load while the screen jumps up and down as new elements are added before it displays the requested post. It is pretty annoying.

Any solution to this?

Faster internet? ;) hehehe

5 seconds for a page to load - either your box is really slow or your on dialup? ;)

Sorry couldn't help myself..  Have been using FF for years and years - pretty much since it first came out.  Have never noticed this..

Are you using something like a host file to block ads or something?
