mihir
don't forget that the original powertoys for xp changes the alt+tab feature to show screenshots of the program. it seems to me that since longhorn is meant to be the next gen os, microsoft would try and take alt+tab to the next level. i'm not saying apple ripped off microsoft, i DO love apple but bill gates and his dirty little company have done a lot of revolutionary creative things (possibly more than apple) and it's quite possible that microsoft did think of this before apple put it into panther. Chadwick
Yah it can be pantented, my uncle knows the guy who create the "one-click" purchase, and he gets royalties from amazon.com to use it :| so if this is using hte same methods as apple (like hte 4 corners) they can have their ass handed to them at any point by apple :)

Here, I made this video clip and you can prolly see what i mean. expose.mp4.zip
Steve
Here's what I was talking about: http://research.microsoft.com/adapt/TaskGa.../window_ops.gif Yeah, I said that.... I've never seen that before... Funny tho, i mean, i can seriously imagine it looking that awful with current NT / 9x systems, no wonder they never implemented it... :x

Here, I made this video clip and you can prolly see what i mean. i don't need you to show me how expose works i use it constantly, all i'm saying is, you can see the potential in that utility for an expose like feature in longhorn. as i previously said, i don't think apple copied microsoft, i just reckon that it's possible that microsoft were developing the same sort of thing at the same time.
