It's a well done cautionary documentary  about AI; the benefits, the downsides and the dangers, and there are many of each. Some frightening. Interviews with many high level people in tech.

 

IMO, viewing should be compulsory.

I agree, very good documentary.   I think AI can help but what they should be doing is AI for specific tasks and not a super AI that can do everything.  Also the last thing we need is to give it control over things like weapons systems and such.  BTW, there is a bit in the film where they say that Googles Deep Mind AI has admin access to Googles servers, what the heck guys?    Who's idea was it to give this thing access to all that data?
