shodan
Is there any way to merge 2 partions without losing the data in it? I have the Primaty partition that's becoming too small, and a spare partion i would like to join.... but i wouldn't like to re-install the OS.
danbalsh
Nope, not that I've ever seen anyway :( Could you not "CarbonClone" the partition onto the bigger one?

shodan
Thanks, i've took a look at that... but unfortunatly I don't think it will be any good for me! :( The thing is, I have 3 partion: 1) 20 Gb where the OS is installed 2) 50 Gb where is the User directory (I have 3 users.... ) 3) 10 Gb Scratch partion... I'd like to merge partion 1 and 3, to have a 30 Gb system one, 'cos after some months, i only have 6 Gb left on my System partion.... I think I'll have to reinstall the whole system..... in fact i can't even merge partition 1 and 3, without loosing data on partition 2, or so it happened to me last time i tried... :(
mac15
no use running a scratch partition on the same HD, if it were another faster drive then it would make sense
