Xbox One X to receive its first-ever discount as part of Microsoft's E3 sale

Almost everything Xbox will be receiving discounts in a few days as Microsoft has announced a massive sale celebrating E3 week, which the company is calling the "Biggest Xbox Sale of the Year." Xbox Consoles, games, bundles, accessories, services, and more will all be covered with heavy discounts during the sale, which kicks off on June 7.

The entire Xbox One family of consoles and their bundles will receive discounts of $50, which also applies to the company's 4K capable console, the Xbox One X, making this the first time that the more powerful model has dropped in price.

All Xbox One controller editions will be $10 cheaper during the sale as well, which also applies to the Xbox Design Lab controllers.

Meanwhile on the games front, Microsoft promises discounts of up to 75% off for over 300 titles such as "Battlefield 1, FIFA 18, NBA 2K18, Assassin’s Creed Origins, Forza Motorsport 7, Destiny 2, Super Lucky’s Tale, Monster Hunter: World, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Sea of Thieves." DLC packs and expansions of games are inheriting the same discount treatment as well.

A favorite Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass offer is returning as well, with non-subscribers getting the opportunity to grab 30-day subscriptions for $1 each.

As mentioned before, the sale will begin its run on June 7 on the Microsoft Store as well as on participating retailers with deals on the aforementioned items and more. The Microsoft E3 presentation is slated to begin on June 10 at 1pm PT.
