Slacker
Take a look at the image above.... Do you notice the ugly yellow icons? Last night I was editing a theme in a recent version of StyleBuilder. Everything seemed to work alright, I compiled the theme and applied it. It did not take me long to notice that most icons that I select are enshrouded with an ugly yellow colour. Try as I might, I could not fix this problem. The colour that I do want is a blue that would match my theme. The question which I put forth to you is this: Do you know what I did to get this ugly yellow colour and do you konw how I might fix this? I'm not normally a person to hate the colour yellow, but it just dosent fit... I'm willing to share my source with whoever can help me. Since I am useing this theme for personal use only (it actually a modified theme that Binary made) I'm not looking for credit and don't care what you do would do with it. Anyway... if you can help, would you? Please? Thanks in advance...
space monkey
Just get the RGB value of the color and search for it in your xml file. ;) -space BTW When you find it let me know what the colours' attribute name is.
Slacker
I managed to figure out my problem. I simply started over and the problem wasent in my new recompiles theme. So to answer you question Space Monkey, I cannot tell you that RGB value. I tried to find it in the document, but no luck. I am trying to customize this theme as a full theme with colours and sounds etc. However I haver some questions about customizing the explorer pane that is on the left of all folder windows. Am I correct in assuming that the only way to edit the colours in this pane is to use something like reshacker? I couldn't figure out if Stylebuilder would create a new one or not... Thanks in advance...

But it's not very difficult to experiment with editing the stuff with reshacker, compiling and opening an explorer window to view the changes. Keep in mind if you are editing the shellstyle.dll, *all* explorer windows need to be closed so the dll can be saved. -space
