Dudydoo
Can anyone tell me how to change the icons of certain apps in KDE. I'll give an example... I downloaded the Crystal SVG 1.0 icon set from www.everaldo.com. I have install them through Control Centre and selected as my choice. However unlike the screenshots that I have seen. It doesn't change all the icons such as 'Show Desktop', Kopete, Trash, etc. I would like to know how to change them not only in menu's but in the system tray/taskbar. Also, how can I rename (in KDE) the Trash, Floppy and CD device icons? ... and for my last question (might as well get them off my chest while i'm at it :) ) How in Mandrake 9.2 can I get rid of the Galaxy applet handles? - KDE & Gnome that is. Thanks for help, i'm new to this theming malarky.
JadeWolf324
to change icons that are not being changed...just go and find their paths and change them that way manually. to set the menus the same on system tray/taskbar u hafta restart the K bar somehow...i usually do this by removing the show window list button on and then off again (restarts that bar) and no there is no real way to rename the trash, CD, and floppy to my knowledge. and to get rid of the applets in KDE look under the Dock properties its under the advanced options tell it to fade them out.
