G4M3R
I have the chance to pick up an Powerbook G4 12inch for NZ$1500.00. Specs; G4 867MHz 256MB RAM 40GIG HDD 32MB Video Card DVD/CDRW combo OSX I would add another 512MB to it. So what do you think, go for it or put the money towards a 1GIG Powerbook? SFNE Freak
Hell yes! That's a very good deal (if my $1000 USD conversion is correct). I think MacMall is currently selling 867 Superdrives for $500 USD more than that.

Fusion
I would never buy a Rev. A Powerbook. There was just too many problems with them. Especially with the 12", the heat issues were ridiculous. If you are going to spend that much money on something, you might as well make it worth it and I just don't see a Rev. A 12" powerbook as a good use of money. I would either buy an iBook or save from a Rev. B. But that's just me.
Tim Dorr Veteran Posted February 2, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 2, 2004 Yeah, skip it and go for the new ones. Unless, of course, you like your nuts scorched ;)
