Sayonara Wild Hearts Platforms - Switch and 'others' Release - 2019 Quote Based on the fast-paced trailer that aired as part of the pre-show, Sayonara Wild Hearts thrusts players into a cel-shaded world of purples and blues, motorcycles and “dancing devils.” We see a biker gang in hot-pink varsity jackets, a woman in a masquerade mask holding a sword on top of a bike and even someone trading in their hog for a literal stag at one point. Source -------------------- Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order World Platform - Switch Release - 2019 Quote Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order, a new action-RPG developed by Team Ninja, has been revealed and is coming to exclusively to Nintendo Switch in 2019. The unexpected sequel in the beloved Ultimate Alliance series debuted at The Game Awards on Thursday night. Source -------------------- Far Cry New Dawn Platform - PS4 & Xbox Release - 15 Feb Quote After an early teaser, Ubisoft has officially announced Far Cry: New Dawn at The Game Awards, offering a new spin on the first-person shooter franchise by shifting the story of Far Cry 5 years later to a post-nuclear apocalypse world. Source -------------------- Hades Platform - PC Release - Early Access available now Quote Here’s a total surprise: a brand-new title from Supergiant Games, the studio behind Bastion, Transistor, and Pyre, has been announced and released all at once. Hades is in keeping with the studio’s isometric action-RPG history, with a typically eye-catching and unique art style. It’s out now for $19.99 in early access — but not on Steam. Source -------------------- Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Platform - PC, PS4 & Xbox Release - 2019 Quote First announced back in 2015, it’s a third-person, action-adventure survival game, produced by his studio, Panache Digital Games. Created in Unreal Engine, it’s set in the early years of humankind’s evolution. Source -------------------- Scavengers Platform - not known Release - 2019 Quote At The Game Awards 2018, Midwinter Entertainment announced Scavengers, a futuristic “co-opetition” game. Created by the people who made Halo 5: Guardian’s Warzone mode, Scavengers is a team-based multiplayer game on a large scale, where multiple different team will compete against and alongside AI enemies. Source -------------------- Dead by Daylight Platform - PC Release - Summer 2019 Quote Dead By Daylight, the asymmetrical horror game where survivors try to escape one dangerous killer, is releasing its 10th DLC chapter. Like previous patches, this chapter contains a killer, a survivor and a map. This DLC brings original characters to the game, and the developers are also promising an answer to one of fans’ greatest requests in dedicated servers. Source -------------------- Anthem Platform - PC, PS4 & Xbox Release - 22 Feb Quote During The Game Awards, BioWare introduced new footage from its upcoming online-multiplayer game, Anthem. The new trailer for EA’s third-person looter shooter showed off a story trailer for the upcoming game, finally giving a face to the evil in the world. Source -------------------- Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Platform - PS4, Switch & Xbox Release - 21 June Quote True to the teasers, Activision and Beenox have revealed Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. The overhaul of Naughty Dog's marsupial karting classic includes all the familiar characters, tracks and game modes of the PlayStation original (including Battle Mode), but throws in massively improved graphics and, naturally, online play. Source -------------------- The Outer Worlds World Platform - PC, PS4 & Xbox Release - 2019 Quote In spirit, it's Fallout in space -- you play a newly-thawed settler on the galaxy's frontier who has to grapple with megacorporations, less-than-friendly beasts and other threats. And true to Obsidian's pedigree with games like Fallout: New Vegas, you can expect a pervasive sense of humor. Source -------------------- The Last Campfire Platform - Unknown Release - Unknown Quote While No Man’s Sky continues to grow in interesting new directions, developer Hello Games is announcing its next project, and it’s something very different. Called The Last Campfire, the game is a beautiful, and much smaller experience compared to the sprawling No Man’s Sky. “We call it a Hello Games Short,” says Hello’s Sean Murray. “Like Pixar shorts, it’s a way to foster creativity and new voices in the studio.” Source -------------------- Dragon Age 4 Platform - Unknown Release - Unknown Quote It’s been over four years since the release of Dragon Age: Inquisition, the most recent installment of Bioware’s fantasy RPG series, and at The Game Awards, the company finally announced the next entry — albeit with an extremely vague teaser that didn’t even provide a title. Source -------------------- The Pathless Platform - PC & PS4 Release - 2019 Quote One of The Game Awards 2018’s premieres was the fantasy game The Pathless, which looks beautiful. We can’t say too much about it yet — because the trailer doesn’t tell us much — but from what we can glean, it’s an adventure game set in a forest of all kinds of creatures, from hawks to fire monsters. And, again, it looks beautiful. Source -------------------- Stranger Things Season 3 Platform - 'All platforms' Release - 2019 Quote At The Game Awards, Stranger Things creators The Duffer Bros. hit the stage and announced a new game on the way tying in with their Netflix series. Made by Bonus XP -- developers of the first retro Stranger Things Game for mobile devices -- it looks to feature some arcade-style isometric action that blends in well with the show's 80s aesthetic. Source -------------------- Mortal Kombat 11 Platform - PC, PS4, Switch and Xbox Release - 23 April Quote Mortal Kombat series co-creator Ed Boon revealed the first trailer for his new game today, showing a gory, bloody battle between Raiden and Scorpion. And then another Scorpion. The trailer promised a full reveal of the game in January. Source -------------------- Psychonauts 2 Platform - Not known Release - 2019 Quote At the 2018 Game Awards, Double Fine and Starbreeze showed off the first story-based trailer for Psychonauts 2. While there is some light gameplay shown toward the end of the trailer, the main focus is on introducing the Motherlobe, a secret fortress of mind secrets that the sequel seems to focus on. Source -------------------- Journey to the Savage Planet Platform - PC, PS4 and Xbox Release - 2019 Quote Typhoon Studios, founded in the spring of 2017 by a veteran of the Far Cry and Assassin’s Creed series, has announced its first game: Journey to the Savage Planet. It’s a lighthearted first-person adventure in which players have been sent off to an uncharted planet that they must explore and determine if it is habitable.
