1 Brandon H Supervisor Posted December 21, 2018 Supervisor Share Posted December 21, 2018 Are you looking for free only or do you care if it's pay for? We keep a yearly poll going for best free/paid Anti-Virus pinned in this forum; they should give you a good starting point for deciding Personally I use the built in Windows Defender in 10 and that's enough for me but previously I used to use 360 or Avast (though I've heard Avast has gone down hill in recent years). If looking at paid I always recommend ESET/NOD32 Bruinator and DConnell 1 1 Share
0 Bruinator
The reason I ask is suites tend to slow loading of web pages on my computer. I dont plan on spending anymore money on my laptop.
0 Brandon H Supervisor Posted December 21, 2018 Supervisor Share Posted December 21, 2018 yeah Mcafee and a few other suites are bad about that; Never had that problem with 360 Total Security though and the nice thing about that free one is it uses both the Avira and BitDefender engines.
