Nick H. Supervisor Posted December 25, 2018 Supervisor Share Posted December 25, 2018 Do you know what the network adapter is? You could always try going to the manufacturer's website and manually download the driver. Also, have you tried uninstalling the driver under Computer Management, then installing it again? sc302 Veteran Posted December 27, 2018 Veteran Share Posted December 27, 2018 you built a computer and don't have an internet connection? Your screenshot says it doesn't have the drivers for the nic. The motherboard should have came with a driver disk, install the drivers for all peripherals off that disk. Alternatively, you can go to the motherboard manufacturer site and download all of the drivers you need from there, you will need to utilize another computer to do that with and utilize a thumb drive/usb stick to transfer the drivers to the computer that doesn't have them. Use a usb2 port, usb3 will more than likely be undetected. good luck, nothing we can do from our side to help you further. +BudMan MVC Posted December 27, 2018 MVC Share Posted December 27, 2018 I'm a bit confused as well.. Sounds like it worked before.. So what exactly was done when it stopped working? Did you install a different OS, reinstall the OS? Maybe the nic just went bad, etc. Barney T. 1 Share
