When is that Google "More Storage" (from 1T to 2T) coming?

I saw this back in May of 2018:  https://www.neowin.net/news/google-announces-google-one-an-upgrade-to-the-google-drive-paid-cloud-storage-service/

But, last I checked, I still have 1T of space available.  Anyone have any info on this?

I got an email back in May:

 

"You don’t need to do anything. In the coming weeks, we’ll send you an email to confirm your upgrade is complete, with more details on what you can do with Google One. At that point, you’ll be billed for Google One instead of Google Drive."

 

Or do I need to do something to access this extra space?

They are rolling it out gradually. No idea about their release schedule though. I got upgraded towards end of December.
