Tesla says new technology can recharge a car in 15 minutes

Tesla said early March it’s rolling out new technology that will cut typical recharging times for its electric vehicles to about 15 minutes.

One of the biggest reasons I hear from people when we talk about electrics is the charge time. With charge times now as fast as 15 mins, this objection will be used less often. Hope this tech is shared/licensed and/or discovered by the other makers asap to make it a standard experience.

Tesla open sourced much of their tech.
