kiddingguy
I am looking for a new gaming PC. I see very competive priced Medion PC’s. I think it’s a sub-brand of Lenovo. Do you have experiences with this brand? Is is any good? Are the components up to par? Quality build? Etc etc. Or do you recommend a non-branded PC? Or from a brand like MSI, ASUS or alike? Any help is appreciated 😁

goretsky Supervisor Posted March 11, 2019 Supervisor Share Posted March 11, 2019 Hello, Medion was a German PC manufacturer that was acquired by Lenovo several years ago. I don't know much about the brand since I'm in the U.S., but I know Lenovo has their Legion brand for gaming. One of those was recently reviewed here on Neowin at https://www.neowin.net/news/lenovo-legion-y730-17-inch-review-productivity-in-the-streets-gaming-in-the-sheets. spikey_richie
Medion were always low/mid-range multi-purpose machines on par with Gateway and the like. If they do a performance gaming system, it may be worth getting the spec and pricing the components separately on pcpartpicker and seeing how it compares. neoraptor
As pointed above it was always considered budget brand. I had some bad experience with their laptops. Why don't you build one ? There are plenty of tutorials.
