theprotege
you can't install it without ftp install. the purpose of the live eval is to connect to the ftp servers to pull the files it needs to do the install. if you look hard enough you can find the isos somewhere and download them. markwolfe Veteran Posted February 4, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 4, 2004 The official answer is that to install SUSE, you need to do an FTP install. However, other people have made .iso files (I have heard), that might be found by using http://www.google.com/linux (I don't say that to be coy. I really haven't looked for SUSE .iso images) :D

Rockett15
:pinch: would like to help you there but it was a bit hit and miss with the FTP install.. managed it on 3rd attempt.. and you have to take the ftp's directories and ip# down before you install.. just dont forget to load modules if hardware doesnt work at first.. Personally I don't like SuSE so I only did this the once
