Couldn't make the ship with proper alignment so it sacrificed itself. It's preprogrammed to do that.

One more to go, Demonstration and Science Experiments (DSX), and that's a couple of burns and 2 hours away.

They'd said center core recovery was 50/50 at best given the hot trajectory, and the final two burns and DSX deployment went as expected, so that's it.

Center core loss was a failure of thrust vector control (TVC)
