HP today announced a couple of new PCs that are aimed at the healthcare market. They include the EliteBook 840 G6 Healthcare Edition and the EliteOne 800 G5 Healthcare Edition, with the former being a laptop and the latter being a 23.8-inch all-in-one.
The EliteBook 840 G6 includes Intel's eighth-generation Core vPro chips from the Whiskey Lake family, so you have a choice between a Core i5-8365U or Core i7-8665U. You can also opt for non-vPro. The EliteOne has ninth-generation desktop processors.

They're designed for healthcare, so one key factor is that they can both be cleaned easily. They come with Easy Clean 2.0, an app that makes it simple to disable the touchscreen, meaning that you can clean it without accidentally interacting with it. HP also says that the PCs are designed for bed-bug infestations, "with popular formulations used by pest professionals".
But that's not all, because the screens are designed to be used with latex, nitrile, and surgical gloves, employees can gain access more easily. It also has secure dual-band RFID authentication, for that same purpose.
Naturally, they both offer options with Sure View privacy displays, meaning you'll be able to work without someone being able to look over your shoulder. With the EliteOne 800 G5, you can mount it on a stand as well.
