Yeah I was playing on a G5 at fry's today when I got my new printer. I spent 45 minutes playing on the thing. It had the side case off so you could look inside (but it still had the clear plastic on) All I can say is I was just inlove playing around with it on a 23inch HD display. I'm gonna have to buy one. I like windows and all but man OS X is just flat out beautiful as is that G5 case.

$2999.97 --> $4299.00 Canadian. I'd have to sell a kidney to be able to even remotely afford that.

I'll give you $4000 for one of your kidneys, as long as it's good working order PM me for my address  :ninja:

No, Apple prices things regionally.

Personally, I'd save the money at get the refurb version: PowerBook G4 1GHz/512MB/60GB/SuperDrive/AP Extreme Card/GigE/56K/17"TFT - Refurbished $2,199.00

Student pricing starts the notebook at $3,800. Developer discount is even more.

For what it's worth I paid $4,800 for my 15" TiBook about 18 months ago. $4300 cdn is a bargain! Also, buying the ram 3rd party saves you a fortune.

You can pick up 512mb sticks of micron ram for your powerbook for $190cdn (and that was just at the nearest store - you can probably find better). That cuts $200 of the price if you wanted 1gb.
