I don't know, I'll probably see it to kill time one night but this is a sequel that's like, what? 20 years late?

Hollywood has no more original ideas.... just like the upcoming Rambo (Last Blood) movie. I will not be surprised if this time, the Bad Boys will fight the Aliens  Predators, and team up with Johnny Rambo.

Bad Boys II came out in 2003. So not quite 20 years but close enough.

I'm sure the movie will be okay but at the same time it feels like they're using the same old jokes from the first 2 movies. Like Martin's character still trying to be a pacifist and wanting to retire and getting tired of how Will's character behaves and so on. That's all rehashed and reused.

As if that isn't enough it comes out in January which I usually think happens when the publishing companies don't have much faith in the movie to make it a summer action flick.

Martin Lawrence has aged enough for both him and Will Smith.

I've got a soft spot for the first movie, and I'm glad Joe Pantoliano is back, so I'll happily sit through this.

Bad Boys 2 was hilarious, I could be sure talks were happening for a third film back in 2005.

Better late than never, I’ll certainly give it a watch though!

So I was just checking out Will Smith's page on IMDB and it looks like they've already got pre production going on Bad Boys 4, as well. Seems like they're pretty optimistic about how well this movie is going to do which makes the January release date more interesting.
