Do you have a multi monitor setup. I'm just wondering how many other people do. I found a poll from 2007 but I thought I would create a new one for 2019.

I have a 3 monitor setup in the basement

I have a 3 monitor setup on my couch (LOL ya I know) ... I really want a 4th monitor on my couch. 1)

1 monitor for Quickbooks / everything else

1 monitor for a remote assistant screen

1 monitor for chats

-----

I want 1 more screen for another remote assistance in progress.

I used to have a 3 monitor setup ( https://i.imgur.com/Mz8GbvR.jpg ) but my new desktop is now just 2 ( https://i.imgur.com/OrMJpeW.jpg ) due to limited space. I can't cope on a single display desktop.. I can barely tolerate it on my laptop.

No truer words have been spoken! Once you go multi monitor you can never go back! At my GF's house I have a laptop I use from her couch. Oh god the pain! More than one remote support assistance screen? Chat window blinking at you on the bottom of the screen!?!?! Sweet Jesus!!

Not anymore. Replaced three 24in Dell Ultrasharps with a 38in Dell Ultrasharp.

Never saw a need personally for portrait setup.

I have a 17in laptop that I use primarily.  If I was going to do work or something more extensive , I would go to my dual setup.  But for just basic browsing and stuff, a single monitor/laptop is just fine.

IRC, Teamspeak, Twitter, Other chats, webpages (news, articles, etc)..

Originally (first one), center was for games/videos, left was new/articles/guides/etc, right was IRC, IM's, Teamspeak, etc. New setup right alternates between what the the two portrait displays did on my triple display.

Also, originally I did this when I was a programmer, it was awesome for both viewing lots of code, and previewing webpages.

After looking at your first photo, you use to have the princess Leia dual monitor setup!

Lots of people at work are starting to use their laptops screens as a 3rd display.  Standard monitors for the reg people at work are 22" Dell monitors.  Most people have dual monitors.

And my last job, we had a quad 32" setup.

Good reasons.  Just does not suit my needs personally.
