Unobscured Vision Share Posted September 28, 2019 Take note, friends ... Those three Raptors are to get the bulk of the vessel up and for steering it. Yes, that gigantic thing (as it currently is) can be handled by three Raptors + RCS thrusters. Not to LEO (on this test), but up, then landing it more or less gently after cancelling all of the energy they've generated. Imagine -- just imagine -- how much power the rest of those Raptors are gonna contribute to Starship that we haven't seen or thought of yet. They have yet to be installed.
