Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition announced for November

The latest adventure of Lara Croft is getting the Definitive Edition treatment. Square Enix today announced the Shadow of the Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, delivering the base game as well as all of the post-launch DLC packs in a single package next month.

The Definitive Edition carries all seven challenge tombs, as well as every weapon, outfit, and skill the developer added to the game as premium post-launch content. There is a special outfit in it for those who pick up the new edition as well, which will also be given to Season Pass owners for free.

The game has Lara Croft venturing into Central America in an effort to stop a Mayan apocalypse from happening. The storyline concludes the origin story trilogy that began with the 2013 reboot of the Tomb Raider series.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is releasing on November 5 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A Google Stadia version is planned to arrive later in November, probably alongside the November 19 launch of the cloud gaming service.

In addition to the original platforms, it was also announced today that the game is releasing on Linux and macOS for the first time on November 5 as well. Feral Interactive is handling the Definitive Edition's porting duties for the two new platforms.
