Reconfigure Grub while in Windows?

Recommended Posts

I installed KDE Neon after many years of not using lInux, just for something to play with. I installed to an external drive and it works great. In my infinite wisdom, I'd forgotten that it would install grub. It's fine, but it's on my external drive plus it defaults to Linux, which makes Windows updates a pain since it has to reboot several times. Plus without the drive plugged in, I cannot boot into Windows. Can I move grub to my main system drive or at least configure it to default to Windows?
