Tim Dorr Veteran Posted February 7, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 7, 2004 The Beav: Don't get the Apple loan. You can get a better deal using a credit card and paying off the credit card over time. The APR will be a lot lower.

SFNE Freak
Nah , for what I do, I don't really need ram What are you talking about? I don't do much of anything either and the lack of RAM was driving me insane. :p The most I do is a little Photoshop and the occasional export in iMovie to remove the protection an an iTunes song I bought. isus
then get more ram for that too. even if all you do is browse safari, your computer will benefit. to prove my point, go to google and search for menumeters. download it, install it, go to system prefs and turn on the ram monitor thingy. then click on the new thing in the menu bar, and the 1st line under vm stats, read pageouts. those things take a long damn time, and more ram will stop them. aaron901
I have 256 Mb on my iMac and well , I have no problems if you're satisfied with 256MB, you'll be 10000 times happier when you throw in another 512MB in there. :D
