Tim Dorr Veteran Posted February 7, 2004 Veteran Share Posted February 7, 2004 Ohhh, those. Yeah, you can't force it to show up in a new tab permanently, but you can hold Command when clicking.

Fusion
hmmm are there any cool free 3rd party v1.2 compatible ad-ons that does that? thnx :) Well first of all, be careful asking this question. Jaggededge might come in an bite your head off for it. I asked the same thing when I first started using Mac because I used to use Firebird on windows with an extension that did this very thing. There is currently only one program I know of that does this sort of thing and unfortunately it is not free. Saft by haoli software does the trick for 10 dollars. It used to be free on Jaguar but with Panther came shareware. It is an excellent piece of software however and well written. It also provides some nice features like adding full screen mode and kiosk mode to Safari. link This is the only solution that I know of thus far, but I would love to hear if there are others out there. I decided not to buy it when Panther came out because I would rather command+click than pay ten dollars. However, some of the features of Saft might be worth far more than 10 dollars to some people, I just wouldn't use it enough. <EDIT> By the way, I forgot to mention; I posted all this information with links in the unnoficial newbie quide that is pinned at the top of this forum some time ago. You might want to check there before you start new threads. Could save you some time. :) </EDIT>
