Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 lineup of smartphones in February at its Unpacked event. The devices boasted of impressive specs, everything from 120Hz displays to vastly improved cameras. However, while the devices touted superior hardware specs for the cameras, the user experience with the shooters was questionable according to early reviews.
The top of the line S20 Ultra, packing the 108MP sensor, suffered from poor autofocus performance, with the device hunting for focus constantly. Other issues included aggressive skin smoothening. While Samsung did not admit to the issues, the company did say that it would push out a future update to the devices to “improve the camera experience”, and did roll out such an update.
Now, Max Weinbach of XDA Developers has received information about additional issues that the company aims to fix with an upcoming major S20 update.

Overheating while Qi Charging
Camera App freezing
Battery Management
Wifi Unstable
According to the information, the update aims to fix bugs that result in the camera app freezing, unstable Wi-Fi performance, and battery management issues. It also is geared at fixing heating issues with the device when being charged through a Qi-compatible wireless charger.
