Samsung has announced its latest mid-range smartphone -- the Galaxy A31. The device is the successor to the Galaxy A30s which was announced in August last year. The A31 does not bring anything radically new or different to the table, though it has received a pretty major spec bump. Samsung had already announced the Galaxy A51 and the Galaxy A71 in December last year.
The device now comes with a Infinity-U 6.4-inch 20:9 aspect ratio FHD+ AMOLED display and is protected by Gorilla Glass 3. The phone continues to come with a 'glasstic' back like its predecessor, though the design of the camera module has changed and it now looks similar to the Galaxy S20 series. The camera setup has also received a major upgrade and now includes a 48MP primary shooter, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, and a 5MP macro and depth sensor, respectively.
The Galaxy A31 will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants and pack a massive 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The full specs of the device are as follows:

The Galaxy A31 will be available in four colors: Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush White. Samsung did not provide any information about the pricing and availability of the Galaxy A31. This should be revealed on a region-by-region basis as the device is launched globally.
