DEVS on BBC2

I watched it on Hulu.  Very cerebral and compelling, but the ending was a little disappointing.  Not super disappointing, but a little.  I won't share any details, but I really liked Nick Offerman in it.

It started off cool enough, but they made it to "stylish" or "artsy" for

my tastes. I hate when they make shows wicked slow and use

horrendous sound effects just because. Grr...

As for the Ending, meh. Obviously, I won't spoil it... but they took

way too damn long to get to the point, and then the finale was

just pretty meh. Mostly, because of the glaring plot holes.

Ok, so here's the spoiler section. You've got  a group of
intellectuals who know it's possible to see the future. They even
had an episode where they'd show like 5 seconds into the future
and see themselves saying something. You're telling me that
no-one actively tried to just keep their damn mouth shut for
5 seconds? Come on! Nick's character was driven to find/prove
a specific reality, so it makes sense that he just went with it and
never tried to deviate. But the others? They weren't blinded by his
grief or his drive, so I just can't see it. And when the kid got fired
for writing his code, they went ahead and kept using it, anyhow,
even though it supposedly proved the very thing they were claiming
couldn't be:  that you could choose to change the future the machine
showed you. So yea... meh.
