Fly Soul
i did emerge system again and it worked, strange.... Now I have another question, i'm downloading the gentoo-sources kernel. Do you recommend any of these USE flags for the kernel? Flag Description aavm Use Andrea Arcangeli's memory management evms2 Use EVMS 2.0.1 instead of EVMS 1.2.1 crypt Apply Cryptographic patches usagi Keep USAGI, drop superfreeswan, patch-int, loop-jari
Aes
I never specified any additional kernel flags -- I've geen running Gentoo solidly for several months now (2.4 kernel, though now I'm on the 2.6.1 kernel). You can always use genkernel and configure your kernel later if you need something done and recompile. It really doesn't take that long. :-) Just my opinion. ~Colin
