LunaC
Inside Windows Explorer, Control Panel etc. used to have wallpaper. Somewhere along the way it's lost it and for the life of me I can't seem to find the setting for this. I know it's not the theme I'm using (I've tried setting it cack to old Luna to test it. I know it did it in there... faint film image inside my pictures etc.) Anyone know where that setting is?
Boeing 787
They took that option out in XP but if you copy over the files from 2K you can get it to work agian sort of.

LunaC
Yes, they were sort of like that but faint. I think I found it again, one of the styles I switched to has it, so now all I have to do is figure out how they did it :s

LunaC
kingzagz: Thanks! Sounds like just what I wanted, downloading it now :) BTW, where did you get that wallpaper? I really like it! hardgiant: The theme I found with folder wallpaper was ChaNinja. It had a nice faint image in some folders (music, pictures, videos etc.). Here's another one that does it (In case you want to add the idea to any styles you make) http://www.themexp.org/view_info.php?id=10465

Boeing 787
Yeah this url: http://www.geocities.com/ll3ph7/Folders.html has been a dead link for awhile. I emailed the author but he never replied. The program Folder Ext doesn't work to well under XP, if you hit browse and look for a .bmp nothing shows up, when you choose .gif then jpegs show. kingzagz
I know what you mean about the filetypes. What you do is type *.* in the filename field and then you can pick any file.
kingzagz
The folder icons are called TriTanium (their converted from mac format)... Download them here.

Boeing 787
I've been messing around with the folder backgrounds and I came up with an idea for a default background. My Desktop.ini looks like this: [.ShellClassInfo] ConfirmFileOp=0 [ExtShellFolderViews] {BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}={BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC} [{BE098140-A513-11D0-A3A4-00C04FD706EC}] Attributes=1 IconArea_Image=F:xplight1280.jpg IconArea_Text=0x00FFFFFF IconArea_TextBackground=0x00000000 [.ShellClassInfo] ConfirmFileOp=0 NoSharing=1 IconFile=Folder.ico IconIndex=0 InfoTip=Some sensible information. As you can see it points to F:xplight1280.jpg because I only want one Jpg instead of copying the same jpg over and over agian. Anyways any software creators think you can create a program that would create and register the Desktop.ini for a new folder automatically so I don't have to keep repeating the process over and over agian ?????????
