EA Play Live is only a short time away, but Electronic Arts has already pushed out another wave of its games onto Valve's Steam platform, like it has been doing for the past couple of weeks during Thursdays. Some more heavy hitters have joined the ranks today, including Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall 2 and Hazelight Studios A Way Out, among others.
There are now six more EA games available to purchase on Steam alongside a lot more DLC packs. The latter is mostly from The Sims 4's arrival, which brought in its quite robust selection of expansions and stuff packs it has gotten over the years.
Here are all the newest arrivals:
- Titanfall 2
- A Way Out
- The Sims 4
- Dead Space 3
- Need for Speed: Payback
- Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)
Just as before, these new games, as well as their respective DLCs, have launched with discounts that go up to 75% off. All of the publisher's wares are currently running similar discounts on Steam.
As the multiplayer portions of EA titles released on Steam use the same servers as Origin, the PC playerbases should get healthier for the new arrivals as well, as it has done for Battlefield since the franchise dropped on the platform last week.
EA doesn't have many more modern titles left over to launch on Steam. Respawn's Apex legends is still a massive missing piece, but we might get more information regarding it, and EA Access on Steam, during the EA Play Live presentation later today from the behemoth publisher.
