tick
I was messing around with installing new icons and without even thinking about it I reassigned all file folders to open with Explorer.exe. The bad part about this is that now every folder opens up in a new window. I have checked all appropriate boxes under folder options and this does not fix the problem. Also when I try to edit file types I don't have access to edit, and remove options even when logged in as true admin. any ideas on how to fix this?? TIA

CustardFD
It looks like in the File Types tab, you can simply select the 'N/A File Folders' entry, and delete the association. I don't want to try though, because I don't fancy kanckering my installation at this moment in time. FYI I'm currently working on a Win2k machine. Regards, Dan. JustinLerner
You should see two button options normally. Change Advanced Once a default File Type has been changed, the Advanced button becomes "Restore" if Windows 2000 is still operating correctly. Just click on the Restore button, which then becomes Advanced again.
