hello dear experts,

cpu Intel Core i7 - 10700T, 8x2.000 GHZ Tray

Intel’s 10th Gen consumer desktop processors are here, including the upper-mid-range Core i7-10700K. It comes with a new socket and chipset, the LGA 1200, and the Z490.

whoever is on LGA 115X platform, is in luck, as all CPU cooler mounting hardware is already fully compatible. what if i am going to purchase the 10700K :

can you suggest some of the best Z490 motherboards

which addtitional advice do you have for the 10700K build,

What you need the board to have? We can't suggest a board if we don't know what you want it for.

many many thanks for the reply.

we want to use this cpu for a low-power-consumption server.

you think that we should take a cheaper mainboard!?

well  i am not sure their a best board guess it depends on how far we can go and try to overclock it.
this board rund with the 10600K.

How do you get low powered with an i7 10600K?/10700T? Just boggles my mind.

I never trust those "best motherboard" guides, they are so biased. What you need to do is look at what you NEED. I mean the components that are built into the board.

Why not pair the 35-watt 10700T with a B460 or H470 chipset vs. the more expensive Z490 boards?  Obviously you would need to make sure that the motherboard has all the requirements you need for this "low-power-consumption server" ... whatever that means.  Very broad question.

Hello,

The mounting holes and socket layout for the LGA-1200 CPU socket are compatible with existing Intel LGA-115n socket cooler layouts.
