NVIDIA'S RTX 30xx Series (rumors, teases, etc)

I hope it's not that expensive, the extra 10GB GDDR6X manufacturer cost is approx $130 worth (1,000 part price, NVIDIA of course would pay significantly less), charging an extra $350 would feel excessive. I'm hoping when the 20GB version is released it's closer to $850... my 10GB version hasn't arrived yet and already thinking about the 20GB version :shiftyninja:

Linus hands-on with the RTX 3090  (Nvidia sponsored).  Running Doom Eternal @ 8K Nightmare and some other games.

RTX 3090 reviews have dropped...

(this one was fun to watch with all the "bribes")

...etc.  Guru3d, Hexus and other tech sites have dropped reviews on, not only the Founder's Edition, but 3rd party manufacturers as well.

Basically (from my quick glance at the reviews)... not really worth it over the 3080...for gaming (a Titan replacement yes)

So, there are increasing reports of 3080/3090s crashing to desktop during gameplay.  Mostly AIB boards ... possibly due to capacitor choice.

igorlabs writeup here:

Jayz video regarding this potential issue:

Remains to be seen if this an actual issue (if Nvidia/AIB acknowledges it) and if it is, if it can be corrected with BIOS update.
